School... again..
Today I woke up in the middle of the bed, upside down. I didn't know what time it was, because my phone was out of charge and I was a bit scared that it was 6:00 or something and then I barge into mama's room and yell, Mama! We are getting late! And then when she doesn't wake up, throw a temper tantrum. I was a bit scared again because what if mama wanted me to wake up myself. So I just lay there. And then by god's grace, well mama’s grace, she came promptly at 7:20, just like I was supposed to. Again, mama saves the day!
I brushed my teeth, but my eyes hurt because I had never had such a deep sleep, and the light was weird for me because I had been in the dark for like 11 hours so yeah. I was so lazy today, I sat on the stairs, and began to scooch myself down the stairs. Once it nearly took ten minutes to get down the stairs. But this time I was pretty quick. Even though it was morning and I was tired, I still had this urge of joy that today is gonna be a good day because it was my birthday in four days, Exciting right? XD
Mama doesn’t let me wear makeup because I look teenagery and I'm only 8. ( for now XD read my other blog called my birthday! It will be coming on Friday!) another 4, sad years until I do makeup though. But I can still pretend I'm putting on makeup… I use this sponge I have and I dab it on my face to make my skin color a tad lighter. Then I sat down to eat breakfast.
I waited for a bit and then online school started. My teacher was Mrs. Powers. Like her name, she has power! But she is NEVER mean. So one girl said in a weird tone, Ms. Powes? That's what they all call her. I feel like I'm the only one who calls her Mrs. Powers. So anyway she says " So tomorrow is my birthday" Wow! she said. Happy pre-birthday! Then she says her son's birthday is on Friday. my heart almost skipped a beat. My birthday is on Friday! I yelled out "Ms. Powes?" Oh well, I guess I do say Ms. Powes. Yes, sweetie? She answered. She always says this, especially to me. "It's my birthday on Friday!" I yelled out. Wow! I heard you talking about this with your breakout room on Friday last week!
we had a breakout room where we could just talk! My mom asked the teacher if we just had more time to talk. I was beaming because I hadn't properly met my classmates personally and I didn't know them ANY of them. I anonymously got into a different school for virtual academy. My friend got into Riddle too, but she acted it was just a normal day in and Bledsoe. But we really knew no one...
One boy named Chetan once asked me, which class were you in last year? He was expecting me to say someone in Riddle, but I said that im new. He should know! he seems to be really popular, he should at least know who is new and who is not new! He said, " oh ok... just what were your class last year?" He sounded like he was not interested because I was in a different school. Then he turned to his best friend named Anubhav because he was in the same class last year. My chubby cheeks were burning as Anubhav and Chetan bickered away as they talked about their teacher last year, Mrs. Burner.
one cheeky boy, no demon boy in my class always does a naughty thing when the teacher wasn't looking as she shared her screen to show us the announcements, that also includes the pledge and we have to stand up, but THAT boy had no shame and he sat down every single time. And what's even worse, is that he even mocks the pledge! he mouths the words and makes a mean face for no reason!
He reminds me of another naughty boy in my class last year at Bledsoe who used to cry every single day. But all the boys would say that he was the smartest kid in the class. but clearly, all the girls have some sense and they all think I'm the smartest student in the class. I mean, I knew fractions when I was in kinder. And I have always had the thirst for justice, and I get kind of mad when I can't tell on him for mocking the pledge of allegiance. I know I shouldn't mind these things, but... you know, they should do the right thing. And this was just morning... wait till you hear afternoon...
So next was reading time so she gave us a mini-lesson about Karen Hesse and come on rain and stuff. And then was reading time, where I could turn off my video and have my double breakfast. So I read as I have my double breakfast. Breakfast was really quick because you know, Its a short break, its fast and like I said, short.
